Title: [Fixed in upcoming update] Fog on grass billboards?

Hello,
the problem is actually very simple - billboard grass painted via standard HE terrain tools does not receive fog. Dynamic details placed as meshes do. I attached a screenshot. Is there a setting for it somewhere or is it just a bug?

I've also noticed this issue and would like to know how to fix it.  It just looks weird with fog to have grass billboards stand out like a sore thumb.

That makes sense for why it is happening, since when you create a billboard from the Create menu, its UseFog (and UseLighting) settings are both false.  So that is apparently the default setting for billboards, which might then also be used for dynamic details.  Perhaps a setting for that can be added to the terrain interface.

Would be ok to just change the default setting for grass billboards as well, at least I cannot think of any circumstance when I would like it to behave as it does now...

A flag is not being set correctly as of one of the sapphire builds. We'll get it fixed.

This also happens with dynamic  characters on random parts.

The dynamic grass issue will be fixed in the next update
