Has anyone used Scrum Project Management Methodology ? What did you think of it? I am thinking of using this for our team.

What size is your team?  At Forever Interactive we have been agile, using both kanban and scrum, for a number of years now.  Granted, we tend to have a good number of members, so we feel it is a really good way to track work and hold people accountable, as well as to help everyone see the big picture.

Very small teams might not see the need for such organization, but I would definitely recommend an agile approach over waterfall.  By the way, we have used the website toolsforagile.com (http://toolsforagile.com) for quite a while and find it very useful for task tracking, particularly the Silver Catalyst tool.

The problem with scrum on small teams is that if you don't do it perfectly you end up spending a lot of time on procedure without seeing the benefit. And i see very few teams actually using all of the benefits of burn downs and poker scoping, etc. For small teams, I just recommend setting small achievable goals that can be reacted to and scoped easily along the road.
