Title: How feasible is an FPS MMO?
Post by: issler on Oct 24, 14, 09:12:54 AM
How feasible would building an FPS-style MMO (along FarCry's lines) be? I would want players to be able to roam my world, but also have vehicles and be able to fight each other. I know this is probably a stupid question and the most likely answer will be just 'no', but it never hurts to ask  ::).

I've been all over the place for an engine that would let me do this, please tell me HeroCloud can handle it  ;D.

don't worry it definitely can do that,.. there is also a simple FPS demo made by HE team that you would have access as soon as owning your Hero License.
But of-course you have to design your game and then implement those features you want.

You could easily make a game that is set up like planetside 2. But you need a solid team, most preferably funding to at least a limited degree and a lot of man hours/dedication
