Title: Quartz F Update

Will the new Quartz F update require a full uninstall and install again, or has that issue been fixed in the patch?

Maybe it could be like the games we are making, where it would check the current users files and auto-update to the current running software, adding and removing the files needed in order to achieve that result. ;)

We took extra time this last week to do more testing on our installer and ensure that uninstalls and reinstalls will not need to be performed.

Our installers have always looked at what files you have installed and updated them as needed. Unfortunately with the last two releases there were some bugs that slipped through the cracks which believe to be fixed now.

As always if there are issues during installation please email support@heroengine.com with the installer log file located in your windows temp directory named HeroBladeHC0**.log, where ** is the cluster number where your world is located.

We've now done a few overwrite installs of the HeroBlade, player client and repository browser instead of doing a full uninstall and reinstall, and haven't run into any problems, so it looks like this issue is fixed.
