Title: DOM command error when trying to save class after assigning parent
Post by: Cdngater on Aug 31, 19, 11:21:40 PM
I am following a tutorial by Thazager (Base Window) :  He walks you though creating a class on the Client DOM,  to which I parent to class to _GUIBaseWindow, I save as instructed. But I get the following error 'Bad DOM command - cant describe %i; %i'   There are no errors in the console, script errors, or error windows,  any clue what the cause will be?

I tried deleting the class and adding it new, same issue.  I also tried associating a different parent, and that failed as well.

Yup, that was what was wrong.

This fix post is from 2016, surprised it has not been fixed yet.

Yes, sorry, the DOM was changed to need that Search Text Area empty, after the original text scripts were created. I believe the new video series shows it getting cleared.
