Art & Art Pipeline / Issues With Character Import

I have the model rigged correctly using the skin modier with 3ds max biped system.  Normal typical rig nothing fancy not using any other bones or controllers just standard biped.  It is just one male that has 2 hero textures on him one for diffuse then other normal map with the specular in the alpha channel.  I go thru the character export process 1 by 1 exactly as it needs to be then when its ready export it out in 3dsmax 2012 is what im using.  During the export process it does say it quits but it doesnt you hit cancel then it exports correctly all the needed things.
The male then has 2 character parts the shirt and boots that are selected then using the dynamic character parts ticked I export selected the parts to the parts folder that was created during the character exporting process
also in 3ds max 2013 the exporters dont even work they quit indefinately so might want to mention that as well.

"As far as I can tell the height maps are being flipped to the side when you export them... So in Hero when your facing East that's really north based on how the height maps are imported."

We have imported 16 maps into Hero, but it seems something is happening between export from World MAchine, to import into Hero.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

If you are familiar with World Machine and Hero and can help us figure out where we are going wrong in our exporting of our Height Maps and importing them into Hero, I'll pay you $200. Must be resolved by Sunday evening to qualify for pay.

Game Dev and Gaming / Hero Barely useable on brand new machine.

I am not a developer, but I am logging in to see what the development team is doing and for some reason, Hero is running REALLY slow, to the point of barely being able to rotate the camera. Clicking anything has long delays etc.

I run Skyrim at max settings at 1920 resolution at high FPS. So I'm really not sure what could be causing this.

Intel Core i7-3630M.CPU @ 2.4 GHZ
16GB Ram
Vista 64 Bit OS
Geforce GTX 675M

I mean, this laptop is supposed to be one of the best on the market right now.

Is there something I should look into?

1 square mile? 100 square miles?

I'm talking completely in Hero, not a customized version of the 75k source code by a multi million dollar corp.

We are a newly founded independent development group currently working on a Medieval Sandbox MMORPG called Greed Monger.

Hello everyone,
 Electric Crow Games, LLC is a new indie game development group currently working on the development of Greed Monger, a sandbox MMORPG that found a great deal of success on Kickstarter and currently has a team of modelers and programmers who are working daily to bring the game to fruition, be they without pay up to salaried positions.

We were originally building the game using the Unity Engine, however, for several reasons we have decided to migrate to Hero and have our fingers crossed that this was the right move.

Though we have a solid team in place, some aspects of development could be moving along faster and as such we are looking for some additional developers.

We are looking for help in World Building, 3D Asset Migration (Taking assets (over 14 GB) from Unity into Hero) and some misc tasks.

We are looking for dedicated developers who want to be part of something exciting and not just looking for a quick and easy check. Everyone who works on Greed Monger, be it free help or paid help works hard. There is a great deal to get done and there is always something next.
