General Discussion / [resolved] Hero Blade Doesn't Run on new Windows 10 Home System

We recently purchased new systems and now our Hero Blade doesn't run.  When I click on the blade, a small launch window pops up, then disappears, then nothing.  There doesn't appear to be any residual task running when I check Task Manager.

I'm not sure if it is a Windows 10 issue or some configuration problem with the new hardware.  I have attached the export log from system information.

I would like information on how to troubleshoot this type of problem because we have beta testers and at least one of them is having a similar problem.

SynapticSwitch, LLC is a contract game development studio, and HeroEngine is one of our specialties. 

We began using HeroEngine as a charter developer (back when it was Idea Engine!).  We are still working on our own Hero Engine project (MarsCorp) and have also contracted on two other projects (Venus Rising and GreedMonger).

It has been a long time since we posted here, so I just wanted to take the time to re-introduce our studio and offer our services.  If you have a Hero Engine project that you could use some help on, then we are your team.

Developer Hero Projects / Mariner

Mariner is a colony simulation program where player build a colony on Mars.  The game is primarily a sim.  Players start with a piece of land and a habitat module.  Players will have to use resources (power, water, air) to grow their plot.  They can sell surplus resources to the colony and then use the money to buy more resources and grow, grow, grow.  Players will also be able to interact with other players and complete quests.

Hello. I am Robert, Studio Director at SynapticSwitch.  We are using the HE to create a social colony creation game. 

We are currently using a distributed team of 2 programmers, 2 artists, 1 designer, and a producer.

General Discussion / [Resolved] How to Install Hero Engine on S: Drive

I want to install Hero Blade and repository browser on my S Drive instead of my C Drive.  I was able to install the Auto Launcher on my S drive, but the Hero Blade stilll installs to C and doesn't give me an option to choose the installation directory.
