I believe that's done within your 3d program, but I havn't tried animation yet.  Maybe toss down what program you're using?

my problem is not how to animate it, but how to export it and simply use it inside heroblade

export it as animated mesh? (just selected "animated mesh" radiobutton in the export script and that should probably do it .. if not, wiki might have some info for you)

I think I will start some basic video tutorials soon that might help with setting everything up. There are a lot of questions with really simple things (though I agree that the wiki can be quite UNinformative).

I will just do some basic importing of different kinds of assets (not characters) and also setting up your HE folder structure etc.

I will leave the rest up to Raven to do (whom I haven't seen in a while here)

We are trying hard to make people aware that all their needs are usually met in the wiki. :-)
