3Ds Max/Maya Student Version
« on: May 19, 12, 01:03:22 AM »

As I understood, is it ok to use student version of Maya/3dMax for alpha version, an then, after getting more investment, move to commercial license for beta & release?

Well technically speaking, development is still a part of your intended commercial product, so you are using a student license for a commercial application.  But I'm not a lawyer.  I doubt you would run into any problems before public access is granted.

Most important thing to keep in mind is that anything you export now with your student edition will need to be re-exported once you have the commercial license in order to remove the student license tags on the files.
