We are again looking for a new coder to fill our last spot. Experience in HSL would be a massive bonus but is not required as long as you have coding experience in other languages.

Dedication and a strong will to see a project through to the finish are required as well as great communications skills. We need regular updates on progress or issues that may arise.

Must be able to realistically commit at least 5-7+ hours per week to work with us on this.

Are there any specific areas of coding that you need a hand with? Our project is open to the idea of collaborating with other projects on basic HE coding features, and as you might have seen, our lead programmer, Thazager, has posted plenty of scripting tutorials to help out other HE users - so if you're also open to the idea of cooperating on basic feature coding, and you project has coded a basic feature that our project might still be having trouble with, then it would be quite easy to set up an exchange of code.

Well Amanda, i dont think your team needs our help actually. Just from seeing the tutorials that Zager puts on here, i can see that you guys have things locked down pretty well.

Plus im pretty sure the systems our games will develop are going to be mostly different and incompatible with each other. Its a good thought though. You guys should come onto the HE Skype group to chat with the other developers.

Actually, because MMOs are such a big thing to create, there are still plenty of areas of scripting that we've either not even started to work on yet, or have run into a few problems with coding them - and while every project will naturally have its own systems, the basic foundations that they're built on will be pretty much the same.
For example, a chat system is built on the foundations of players being able to send public and private messages, and a teaming system is built on the foundations of 2 or more players being able to share quests/experiences points/rewards with each other - everything else added to them are extras and refinements of these basic mechanics - so we'd be quite happy to work with you on areas of basic coding that would benefit both projects - and Thazager would certainly be able to commit several hours a week to lending a hand with your development.

I'm also already in the HE Skype group, and keep an eye on it.
