Looking good! Will this be instanced based or will you be working on a large scale world? It looks really nice, I think a zombie MMO is something everyones been waiting for.

Thanks! For certain training areas it will be instanced but for the most part it will be a large scale world build with areas. We don't have plans to make it seamless, right now, so I can really concentrate on making on small area look good. Right now unfortunately you will 'zone' from area to area. Large scale seamless terrains are the long term goal though.

Just like typical MMO's once you get out of the 'training' instance, you will join the general population.

normal maps are not showing up on the streets/curbs, not sure why. They are _n, but I think that applies for only the terrain textures? I think I am missing some shader option that might might have turned off.

all still very temp stuff until we figure everything out.

This doesn't help the fact the we have to wait till February for the new Walking Dead episodes :). Just curious, is it going to be perma death, like you really have to stay alive. Coming along well can't wait to see more.

This will sound stupid, but how do you perma death zombies? I would think the great thing about this game is going around with your head blown off looking for brains.

Thanks for taking a look. There won't be perma' death since this is an MMO and I don't like to punish (much). We have some pretty cool things planned I think that will satisfy most players with their Survival and Undead lovin' desires.

I think there is a permadeath Zombie game when you die you become a zombie (cannot control the zombie, but you become an npc zombie).  Thought it was a pretty cool idea, but it is pretty much permadeath.

Mine is similar to what josh mentioned. As the player dies more and more they become more infected and eventually become a full zombie and can attack players but cant use anything else unless they get the "cure". Then they are back to non zombie again.

Concept of a sewerage treatment plant I did after a buddy of mine suggested it and I scribbled it on a napkin over a few beers. The napkin barely made it home.
