[Resolved] The Snap Function
« on: Nov 01, 12, 09:30:27 AM »

Is there any way to snap to objects or is it limited to grid points? I had some diffculty placing some assets exactly and it become a rather slow process. Maybe just a "getting used to". If its limited to grid points, any other workarounds you guys use?

You mean snapping objects by some arbitrary collision of two mesh faces? You don't want that.

You would export your art assets with snap distances so that assets that you wanted to snap together would all have the same snap distances, then you open the snap menu and select "use asset's snap settings".
