[Resolved] Doors, levers, actionmarks help

so ive been reading through the states system, the state system spec, and have my objects all working. IE I can right click on an object and set it's state to on (for the lever) and the door swings open the lever moves all is well. I can set the state back and the door closes.

The issue I can't resolve is how to give the player the option of triggering the switch while in play mode. From what I can gather I use an action mark, and set it somehow to tie into the lever so when the player hits the mark they get the option to operate the lever. I just can't figure this piece out and how it's configured. Any help will be appreciated.
