Fabs:  If you are asking about the glow on the character, that is from the new feature HDR.

***EDIT: You can adjust it in the Environment panel on the Light tab.

i would suggest not using tone mapping at all. with tone mapping you lose all the beautiful bloom and HDR, it's best to disable tone mapping and lower the key value. keep in mind the key value does except decimal values that are not displayed. i will make a tutorial for the boards when I get a chance. HE2 looks gorgeous when the lighting is set up correctly, here are some shots with the correct lighting set,

Ya, tone mapping definatly changing it. even messes up the lighting. My scenes went from dark to bright as heck with Tone Mapping on.

once you turn off tone mapping you must readjust the viewport for HDR to turn back on.
