That's putting it mildly.

But still, with more and more people using smart phones, I think they will come to accept that UI/UX as de rigueur and be looking for that more in desktops as well.

At the least, it has inspired us to try to make our interface a little less boxy and have a more intuitive flow to it with an eye towards minimizing the number of clicks needed to do stuff.

The article's mention of gmail's interface got me to wondering: do we have the capability to customize the tooltips?  Not just the text, but their appearance?
