[Resolved] Issues Loading areas

We are having issues loading areas and creating models in areas. No errors appear or anything the areas just don't load. I was wondering if any one else was having issues on US-East 21 I believe is our server. Thanks!

Do you have a lot of areas linked?  Could there per chance be too many instances open?  It'd show the message in the chat box.....or was it console.....or both?

We do have a ton of areas linked... 1024 to be exact. We have run into the issues with to many instances running but this time around we aren't getting any messages at all about it.

Well, yeah with a thousand areas it's possible you could be smashing shared processes like the physics server, especially if you just brought them all online.

Are you still having the issue, or was the area server or physics server just under load for a short time while it tried to create nav mesh and pathing data for all those areas?

How can we shut down some instances with out having to go through each one to see if they are online?

We are getting the Chat Channel error messages about too many instances:

[hsl_error] 0,0: [World] SCRIPT ERROR: Unable to launch a new area instance because the current area instance count(67) is greater than or equal to the maximum allowed(60) area instances for this world.

Also I can't imaging we actually have 67 instances online right now... We shut them down all the time when we leave them...

Well, if you've just gridded out 1000 areas, then every time you enter 1, the 8 around it will spin up.

Yeah I get that but there was only 3 of us online... My stuff I stay right in a single area for since I'm the programmer and I was working on our housing system. Then we had 2 world builders who were online and they were not really moving around much.

In chat type /start.  It will list off all running zones/instances.
