PROWLER STUDIO'S SEEKING GAME DEVELOPERS

Hi folks!  So I've been around here for a while and I decided it was probably a good idea to start building a team to get this project moving forward.  While I've learned a lot, and have some good technical and art skill sets, I've decided a one man show just isn't going to cut it.

Prowler Studio is an Indy studio that currently developing a MMORPG 3rd Person Shooter that is centered on a book current being written and planned for initial publication in 2014.  It is a Sci-Fi / Fantasy / Real Life story and game design.  A massive amount of lore and story has been written to accompany the game development.  This game is designed for role players first, and designed to attract both shooters, and fantasy gamers alike.  Those who enjoy combat, PVP/PVE, flying, technology simulation in game, and a sand box open game world existence plus many other features are being accounted for to attract a customer base.  This is not a shoot them up combat game for the kiddies, this game is designed to have challenging experiences, solid story, and a vast open game world and most importantly, dynamic characters that the player will value deeply!

Please note, should you join the team you will be fully briefed at the first Team meeting on the game, concepts being implemented, story, lore, art and aspects you need to know as a developer.


Before you read any further, please take note.  THIS IS CURRENTLY A NON-PAID/LOW BUDGET POSITION.

Plans for payment of Staff in 2013:
1. Paying staff with proceeds from merchandising sales in 2013.
2. Future salary options prior to and after game launch.
3. Future benefit options prior to and after game launch.
NOTE: Options 2 & 3 are for those staff members who remain on the project and contribute as permanent team members and are hired officially into Prowler Studio prior to game launch in 2014.

Present benefits to development staff:
1. Regular, daily access to game content as a developer.
2. Inclusion in the game development process.
3. Resume building, portfolio work to enhance your game development career.
4. Being a part of a team environment on a long term project.
5. Good cooking, beer and good food at monthly Team meetings!

General Requirements:
1. Must be able to take direction, and follow style and theme decisions.
2. Must be able to contribute a minimum set of hours that works best for you!
3. Must be able to attend pre-scheduled online Team meetings.
4. Must be able to fulfill objectives on time and with high quality results.
5. Must be awesome, fun to work with, and very creative!

Currently seeking:
- Lead Programmer:  Currently seeking a lead programmer who has experience in HSL specifically.  You will be responsible for scripting of vital game systems including GUI and HUD interfaces, inventory and many other key systems.  Must provide examples of MMORPG style game scripting.

- Programmer: Currently seeking a lead programmer who has experience in HSL specifically.to join the scripting team for implementation of game systems, questing, crafting, combat, GUI and HUD interfaces.  Must provide examples of MMORPG style game scripting.

- 3D Artist: Currently seeking number of 3D artists who has experience using ZBrush/Maya/3DS Max and can effectively take part in world building, asset creation, texturing, animating and some rigging.  You will build, and upload both static and dynamic assets from the art system into the game engine for the World Builders and Programmers to use.  Assets will range from characters to environment assets, starships, weapons, armor and many of the other types of assets found in an MMORPG environment.  Must provide examples of assets or characters built for game environments.

- World Builders:  Currently seeking individuals who have experience in world building, asset placement and utilization.  You will utilize assets and systems created by the Artists and Programmers to actively build the game world that will be played.

- Concept Artist & Textures: Currently seeking a concept artist who can take ideas the Team comes up with and turn them into viable illustrations for both the studio as well as the website and in-game environments.  Artwork will range from creating textures for 3D models and assets to 2D concept artwork.  Must provide portfolio examples of Sci-Fi  or Fantasy pieces.

- Marketing & Merchandising:  Currently seeking a part time Team member who has experience in merchandise and marketing for games and entertainment.

This is for immediate work.

I can't thank you enough for reading.  While the Studio does recognize this is a non-paid / low budget proposal at this time, the Studio is committed to making this a solid project, with income starting sometime in 2013 for the Development staff.  Should the staff take it all the way, the game release will more than cover compensation for work.
