I see your point cooper but kind of torn on this one, mainly cause his game has been a big inspiration to a bunch of the devs here.
Yes he made the choice to pick unity cause it fit his needs just a tad better overall than hero, but I think we as devs are happy to keep tabs on his project, cause what he is doing with his game, he proved could be done in Hero, just didn't need some of the extra aspects HE provides.
It's a slippery slope though, cause while we all really appreciate McMagics work, heck I never thought about using the states system on a speed tree to have it cut down, then shrink into a logs, then disappear as the user broke them down, till he mentioned it. I can however see where you wouldn't want to cause confusion.
I however think maybe a HE Dev approved disclaimer of some sorts for this topic section only would allow a happy medium?
Cause I really want to keep tabs on his project, but really don't want to have to constantly frequent Unity forums and dig through it, etc.
I see both sides point though, just thought I would say I support McMagic's side of keeping those that know him in the know, via this topic area. He has always supported HE with high regards for it, at all stages of development, even when he made the choice to change, he stated why, and the reason, and it made sense.
but can't go around making exceptions cause then everyone wants one, so I see your side of things too Cooper.
