When I was learning about adding textures to GUIs, I was told to use .dds format. So I made quite a few with that format. Now I see its no longer supported, as the console window tells me when I hover over a button to click it.

DXT3 is dds. Are you exporting your GUI textures as another type?

Use DDS DXT3 format or explicit RGBA (e.g.: PNG) for UI textures with alpha testing

Either you are using a DXT format that either 1) doesn't have any alpha and your control will be invisible, or 2) that is using blend or other compression

I'll fix the error to be more explicit

They are the same textures we have had. I have not added new ones in a few months. Just that now, I am seeing the constant error message in the console window.

I will try to set the "explicit RGBA (e.g.: PNG)" formats on them.

This code only runs if the textures are used for alpha-tested mouse clicks.

Is it conceivable someone on your team could have changed GUI property settings or HSL related to the UI?

Not to my knowledge.  I don't believe anyone else is working in that section at present, or for the past few months.

We have the same issue now but only in a single image. I'm assuming it's either a power of 2 issue or the alpha channel.
