By concept a login screen is used for allowing the player to choose which server they want to log into. A list of server names would be good, with options of showing relative population on each server, if they have special rules - like PvP or level restrictions.

Though a login screen is normally done after the game is ready to go and has an idea of how many players there will be in the game. Then so many servers might be set aside for that game.

WaldemarLima:

Yes, the standard setup that you get with a new world in HeroEngine comes with a basic menu for both creating new characters and logging in with characters that already exist.  As you learn more of the engine, especially the GUI system, you will be able to customize the way logging in looks.

You can also download a player client from your downloads section of your account.

Yes, eventually your players would each create an account at HeroEngineGames.com, and there you would have a page for your game.  On that page, players would enter a code that you had given to them, and that would allow them to log into your game.  But you need to get a bit far into development for that.

Until then, you can create accounts that will have access to your world by using the HeroEngine dashboard site:
https://account.heroengine.com/dashboard

That would be for your team members, and any test players that you want to allow in while your game is being developed.

By the way, that login screen shown in your picture is for entering the game world, and we can't directly customize that, though it can be changed later. Once in the world, there is a second screen for creating and choosing characters, and that is the one that I said can be customized by your team.
