[Resolved| Browser plugin?
« on: Aug 06, 11, 05:23:49 AM »

Hello we everyone

We got access to hero cloud today and were really looking fwd. to start developing our 1st game on it, we've been using unity so far and i noticed that there is a version of hero for social and web games, does this mean hero engine has a browser plugin? something similar to what unity has (maybe better?)
I searched on the wiki and found this: http://wiki.heroengine.com/wiki/HeroEngine_Web_Browser_Plugin

Thanks allot.

You can make any type of game you want. A stand alone client, web client, facebook API. We used to distinguish between HeroCloud for MMOs and HeroCloud for social games at the server level, we don't any longer. And give you everything in one. Those HeroCloud for Social Servers are legacy. You can wire up the web plugin you reference there.

So let me just get this clear and make sure that we can actually run a herocliud game on the browser without the need to actually download the whole game??

Thanks

Absolutely. You just have to choose how and when to get data down to them.
