_debug error?

Checking out one of the new abilities that was added, this error pops up at times.

Script Errors (tab) message:

Area: 9223372056307022385 Instance: 3
 [citytest] SCRIPT ERROR: DebugSystem: Throttling additional debug messages for the next 3 seconds as this area(citytest) has attempted to send in execess of (300) messages (biggest offending systems are: _remotecallfailure [300], none [], and none []).  See error stack for the script that may be causing this problem...

something is throwing an error so fast and so many times (above 300) that it gets throttled.  sometimes these can be fun to track down, but if you know what is being done/called when it happens, you can narrow down where to look.

you could also check your debug history for clues like this:


in the chat panel or window use:

/debug view

this will print out a list of systems which have debug messages that you can look at.

to view the history of one of them type:

/debug history "systemName"
for example
/debug history AreaSpinUp

(which is one of the ones you'll see more than likely)
your problem system might not be listed, but worth a look

also, consider what you have coded that could possibly call an error that many times in such a short span of time.
usually involves a foreach or loop statement, OR something running on a very fast timer.  One thought would be a cooldown timer or applicationTimer, where related to abilities.

There is a chance this might be caused by the cache look ups. After I change the cache I will see if they still happen.

yeah if you can narrow it down, might be able to help pinpoint it, that is if you don't find it yourself :)
sometimes one of these can be hard to track down.
