If you haven't heard of this game you should check it out, and then move back to the planet Earth.

There is a large source of videos available on the website. This product looks incredible.

I wonder if they use the source engine. (I would not be surprised as it is EA/BIOWARE)

Byron. They use the HEROENGINE...that's the point of this section of the forum. It is on track to be the biggest MMO release of all time.

Nothing wrong with that, I can't wait for them to release so I can play it. :)

P.S. I am a Huge BIOWARE fan since they are from my home town! :)

Amen to that, I'm going to be busy when I get what I need to start.  But I'm sure I'll take time at some point to play TOR.  I'm too much of a fan of the genre and I'll have to see what they have done with the design architecture.

This is defiantly the number one game I've been looking forward to. BioWare has always produced such amazing pieces of work, and when I was looking for an engine years back and I stumbled across HeroEngine I was stoked - and then my happiness levels exploded into millions of pieces when I discovered they were using the Engine I had stumbled across (of course they were using it LONG before I came across it.)

With the knowledge of Beta weekends, I'm even more excited - I would love to get in on that and see how they've utilized the engine... might even spark some ideas in my head. I suppose I can just hope to get an invite but more then likely, wait for a release. I had my (collector's edition) pre-order in the day they announced the pre-order was available.

Overall, this is gonna be great.

I've spent the last couple weeks thoroughly testing Hero-Engine.  At least I think it has only been a couple of weeks, judging by the smell of my clothes.........

Why did I post that here?  I'll let you connect the dots.

I'm not ashamed to admit, it was the ST:TOR that got me interested in using the Hero Engine.
Glad i saw the info when i did.  Thanks Cooper to you and your team for a great product.
